What we do!

Taylin’s Reggio play-based infant toddler childcare program fosters a nurturing and stimulating environment where young children can explore and learn through play. This program emphasizes the importance of play as the primary mode of learning for infants and toddlers, recognizing that play is integral to their cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development. Taylins classrooms are carefully designed to be safe, welcoming, and rich in opportunities for exploration. It includes a variety of age-appropriate toys, books, and materials that encourage curiosity and creativity. Play areas are organized to allow for both independent exploration and guided activities, offering children the chance to engage in sensory experiences, imaginative play, and interactive games.

Educators in this program are trained to observe and support each child's unique interests and developmental stages, facilitating play that promotes learning and growth.

The program places a strong emphasis on building secure relationships between caregivers and children. Caregivers are attentive and responsive, providing a consistent and comforting presence that helps infants and toddlers feel safe and valued. They engage in meaningful interactions, such as singing, reading, and playing with the children, which helps to develop language and communication skills. The program also encourages collaboration with families, recognizing that parents are a child’s first and most important teachers. Regular communication with parents in the program ensure that each child’s needs are met and that learning extends beyond our classroom. Overall, a Reggio play-based infant toddler childcare program creates a dynamic environment where children can thrive through the natural joy of play, setting the foundation for lifelong learning and development.
