We realize that time before or after school can be tiring and also overwhelming after a long day at school and that’s why we are dedicated to the children making choices about their program,
involving them in daily decisions and instilling as much fun. We provide art activities, games, science experiments, bake days and homework help.
We offer open ended art along with directed art which is both important in the development of your child. We use many different materials and styles of art daily.
We explore many different types of music from dancing music with scarves and bells, to classical music to calm us down.
Movement is so important in the growth of your child. We ensure everyday we play outside to get the fresh air we need and exercise. This can be done through park play, sports, walks, games and more! We also have an indoor movement room where we do yoga, stretching, music and movement.
We are an english speaking centre. Language is enriched through reading, table toys, journalling, and roll modelling. We practice writing, letters and numbers.
Early learning for math is counting the days of the week, number songs, adding and taking away objects, and counting our friends in the centre.
We will be walking to and from school everyday. Fresh air, and outside play is important in healthy growth and development. Children will have the opportunity to play at the school playground, or in our centres back yard. Some days we may go on outdoor field trips.
